John Greenlee, PA, Certified Public Accountant started an individual practice when Greenlee, Kurras, Rice & Brown PA closed its Clermont office in December 2013. The firm provides tax, accounting and bookkeeping services to clients in the Clermont and surrounding areas. Clients benefit from John Greenlee’s many years of experience in public accounting. He is proud to have been located in Clermont since 1959.

On January 1, 2020 John Greenlee PA entered into a partnership with DAKKAN, LLC, which is owned by Kimberly E Hamlin, whose biographical information appears below.  The Partnership, Greenlee & Hamlin, operates as a Certified Public Accountant Firm.  Greenlee & Hamlin is your Clermont CPA Firm of choice.

ABOUT US

H J Greenlee, Jr (John) was born in Bartow, FL and raised from infancy in Eustis, FL. He attended school there, graduating from Eustis High School with the class of 1954. Following high school, he attended Florida State University, graduating in 1958 with a BS from the School of Business, with a major in accounting. He worked two summers as a receptionist for the Eustis accounting firm Sheppard & Sheppard. Following six months basic training in the Florida National Guard, he joined that firm and remained with it in various positions from staff accountant to partner, until its Clermont office, then operating under the name Greenlee, Kurras, Rice & Brown, PA, closed in December, 2013. Since that date, he has operated as a sole practitioner under the name John Greenlee, PA, Certified Public Accountant.

He has been certified since 1959, and holds Florida CPA certificate # 1230. Although he does not practice in the Tax Court of the United States, he is licensed to do so.

He is married, and has one daughter and two granddaughters. He enjoys weight training when time permits.

Kimberly E Hamlin was born in Gainesville, FL and raised in a small town in Sumter County, Bushnell, FL. She graduated high school from South Sumter High School in 2003 with honors. With being the first of her family to graduated high school she had her sights set on attending college.

While working full time with the local tax collector’s office, she finally had the opportunity to pursue her dream. She attended Colorado Technical University, graduating in 2014 with an Associates Degree in Accounting. She joined the firm Greenlee, Kurras, Rice & Brown, PA as a bookkeeper where she gained valuable knowledge in QuickBooks and financial statements. In 2017, she joined John Greenlee, PA with various roles from office assistant to tax preparer.

She has been married for 14 years, has one son and two daughters. She spends most of her free time on the sidelines of the soccer field.
